Ingredients

1 cup Medjool dates (pitted, about 8–10)

2 tbsp maple syrup

1 tsp of vanilla extract

2 scoops Maple Cinnamon Protein Powder (Ballerina Farm)

2 tbsp chia seeds

2 tbsp flax meal

2 tbsp goji berries

1 cup rolled oats

2–4 tbsp water (as needed, to bind)

How to Make Maple Cinnamon Protein Balls

  1. If your dates are dry, soak them in warm water for 10 minutes, then drain well.

  2. In a food processor or blender, blend the dates until they form a paste.

  3. Add the rolled oats, protein powder, flax meal, chia seeds, and goji berries. Blend until combined.

  4. Add the dry mixture to the dates. Then, add the maple syrup and vanilla extract and blend until the mixture becomes sticky.

  5. If the mixture is still too textured or crumbly, slowly add water—1 tablespoon at a time—until it sticks together easily.

  6. Scoop the mixture into 1-inch balls.

  7. Chill in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.

  8. Roll the balls again until smooth.
