There’s something about fall and winter that makes us crave warm spices, slower mornings, and snacks that feel comforting and nourishing. These Maple Cinnamon Protein Balls bring all of that together—soft, naturally sweet, and filled with cozy maple cinnamon flavor, plus little pops of texture from goji berries.

They’re the perfect no-bake snack to keep on hand during the holiday season, whether you’re juggling busy days, enjoying quiet afternoons at home, or looking for something nourishing to pair with your morning coffee or evening tea.

Made with simple, whole ingredients, these protein balls are as functional as they are festive.

Why You’ll Love These Protein Balls

  • Naturally sweetened with Medjool dates and maple syrup

  • Warm, seasonal maple cinnamon flavor

  • Boosted with goji berries for texture and antioxidants

  • Packed with protein, fiber, and healthy fats

  • No bake and freezer-friendly

  • Great for both kids and adults

They’re comforting enough for the colder months while still supporting steady energy throughout the day.

Ingredients

1 cup Medjool dates (pitted, about 8–10)

2 tbsp maple syrup

1 tsp of vanilla extract

2 scoops Maple Cinnamon Protein Powder (Ballerina Farm)

2 tbsp chia seeds

2 tbsp flax meal

2 tbsp goji berries

1 cup rolled oats

2–4 tbsp water (as needed, to bind)

Instructions

  1. If your dates are dry, soak them in warm water for 10 minutes, then drain well.

  2. In a food processor or blender, blend the dates until they form a paste.

  3. Add the rolled oats, protein powder, flax meal, chia seeds, and goji berries. Blend until combined.

  4. Add the dry mixture to the dates. Then, add the maple syrup and vanilla extract and blend until the mixture becomes sticky.

  5. If the mixture is still too textured or crumbly, slowly add water—1 tablespoon at a time—until it sticks together easily.

  6. Scoop the mixture into 1-inch balls.

  7. Chill in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.

  8. Roll the balls again until smooth.

Ready to eat and enjoy!
