There's nothing quite like a cool, fruity treat to beat the heat. And what better way to embrace the Summer season than with tropical mangoes? Our Summer Mango Smoothie brings the essence of Summer right to your taste buds. With minimal ingredients, it's a breeze to make and a joy to savor.

The Star of the Show

Mangoes are the heart and soul of this smoothie. Bursting with vibrant color and sweet, juicy flavor, they are the epitome of Summer in a fruit. Mangoes are not only delicious but also incredibly nutritious. They're packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, making them a fantastic choice to boost your immune system and promote healthy skin. Plus, they're known to lift your spirits with their sunny disposition – just one bite, and you'll feel like you're on a tropical getaway.

Balancing the Sweetness

To enhance the natural sweetness of mangoes, we add 2 tablespoons of Agave Nectar. This natural sweetener is derived from the agave plant and is a healthier alternative to refined sugar. It imparts a gentle sweetness that complements the mango's flavor without overwhelming it. It's also low on the glycemic index, which means it won't cause those sugar crashes that leave you feeling sluggish.

Creamy Mango Smoothie Texture

Our choice of Oatly Milk provides a creamy, dairy-free base for the smoothie. Oat milk is incredibly smooth and eco-friendly, as it has a lower environmental impact than other plant-based milk. It's rich in fiber and nutrients, which can help keep you feeling full and satisfied throughout the day. Plus, its neutral flavor lets the mango shine.

Chill Factor

The 1/2 cup of ice brings the chill to our Summer Mango Smoothie. It's what makes this drink so wonderfully refreshing on a scorching summer day. The ice blends with the other ingredients, creating that perfect thick consistency that'll have you slurping happily.

Blend and Enjoy

Making this Summer Mango Smoothie couldn't be simpler. Just toss all the ingredients – the mangoes, Agave Nectar, Oatly Milk, and ice – into your blender and blend until smooth. You can adjust the thickness by adding more or less ice to suit your preference. Feel free to get creative by garnishing your smoothie with a slice of fresh mango or a sprig of mint for that extra touch of elegance.

As you embark on your Summer adventures, be sure to keep our Summer Mango Smoothie recipe in your back pocket. Whether you're sipping it by the pool, sharing it with friends at a picnic, or simply enjoying a quiet moment of self-indulgence, this smoothie captures the essence of summer in every sip. It's a tribute to the season of sunshine, laughter, and life's simple pleasures. So, go ahead, blend up some mango magic, and savor the taste of summer!

Mango Smoothie Recipe

Servings: 2-3

Prep Time: 5 Minutes

Total Time: 5 Minutes

Ingredients

2 Ripe Mangoes (peeled, pitted, and cubed)

2 Tbsp of Agave Nectar (adjust to taste)

1 cup of Oatly Milk (or your preferred plant-based milk)

1/2 cup of Ice

Direction

  1. Begin by selecting two ripe mangoes. You'll want to peel, pit, and cut them into small cubes. The ripest mangoes will yield the sweetest and most flavorful smoothie.

  2. Ensure you have all your ingredients on hand: the cubed mangoes, agave nectar, Oatly Milk (or your preferred plant-based milk), and ice.

  3. In a blender, combine the cubed mangoes, 2 tablespoons of agave nectar (adjust to your desired sweetness), 1 cup of Oatly Milk, and 1/2 cup of ice. The ice is essential for that refreshing, slushy texture.

  4. Blend all the ingredients until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency. This typically takes around 30-45 seconds, but you can adjust the blending time to achieve your preferred thickness.

  5. Once blended, taste your smoothie. If you'd like it sweeter, you can add a little more agave nectar and blend again for a few seconds.

  6. Pour your Summer Mango Smoothie into glasses, garnish with a slice of fresh mango or a sprig of mint if you like, and serve immediately. Sip, savor, and enjoy the tropical goodness of summer in every sip!
